Does the sauna come pre-assembled?
SunRay saunas are not pre-assembled. They arrive in panels which are secured together with screws and metal latches. Assembly takes approximately one hour.

How long does it take to assemble the sauna?
Most sauna models take about an hour to assemble. Two people are required. For more information on the assembly of the unit please see the assembly instructions.

Are there any special tools required to assemble the sauna?
No, the only tool you need to assemble the sauna is a Philips head screwdriver or drill with a Philips head bit.

First, unplug the sauna and make sure it is cool before cleaning. To clean the wooden interior of your sauna mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda into a gallon of warm water. Use a towel to wipe down the interior with the baking soda and water mixture. Then wipe the sauna down with a wet towel and let dry. The glass in your sauna can be cleaned with glass cleaner. If you have an outdoor sauna, use a standard garden hose on a low/mist setting to wash out the interior. Make sure to leave the door open so the sauna can dry.

How often do I need to clean the sauna?
The sauna should be cleaned every 6 months or at your discretion if you are using it regularly. Using a towel to sit on while in the sauna will capture a lot of the sweat and thereby reduce the frequency of cleaning the sauna.

Warranty

This product carries a 7-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. SunRay Saunas assures that its products are free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for a duration of seven years following the purchase date. The buyer is fully accountable for the correct usage, functioning, and installation of the product, which is designated solely for residential use.

Commercial usage will invalidate the warranty. Furthermore, the buyer agrees to absolve SunRay Saunas of any legal action, judgments, or liability claims stemming from the product's utilization. SunRay Saunas disclaims responsibility for any damages or losses due to improper installation.

If a product non-compliant with local codes is purchased, returns are permissible under specific conditions: the product must be uninstalled and in original packaging for a return, subject to original and return shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee. Pre-Delivery Notification

We inform each customer by phone when their sauna leaves our warehouse. Furthermore, we will contact you before delivery to arrange a convenient delivery window, ensuring you are available to receive and inspect the shipment. The shipping company will not arrive unannounced.

Acceptance and Inspection Policy

Upon delivery, the purchaser must be present to accept the sauna. It's crucial to examine the packaging for any signs of damage, such as tears or holes. Please do not sign the delivery receipt until you have thoroughly checked and are satisfied that the sauna is in perfect condition. Noted damages at the time of delivery will be covered by our warranty. However, damages reported later without any recorded exceptions on the delivery receipt will not be eligible for coverage. If the warranty claims department determines that the sauna must be returned, it must be returned with a receipt showing date of purchase, purchase price, and the dealer from which the sauna was purchased. No warranty claim will be honored without a receipt.

Warranty claims will only be resolved with the repair of the current product or shipment of a replacement product. Improper use or installation or damage resulting from acts of nature is not covered under the sauna warranty. No other warranties expressed or implied shall be in effect in lieu of the 7-Year Warranty and no responsibility is assumed for present or future damage due to misuse. SunRay indoor saunas are intended for INDOOR USE. Use of SunRay Saunas outside voids the warranty.

"Do not use lacquers, paints or abrasive cleaners on the sauna. Do not place the sauna on non-approved surfaces or in outdoor applications. Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are considered normal characteristics of all wood."

Return Policy

If you've purchased an item from sunraysaunas.com, you're eligible to return it within 30 days from the date it was shipped from our warehouse, provided it remains brand new and uninstalled. To ensure a successful return, the item must be in its original condition, including all packaging, manuals, accessories, and the original crate. Once we receive the returned item at our warehouse, we'll process your refund within 3 business days.

Please note that items must be returned in the same condition as they were received, including shrink wrap, tape, and foam. If the returned item is damaged due to inadequate packaging, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, both original and return, even if the original shipping was free. After inspecting the returned merchandise, we will issue a refund to your credit card for the item's purchase price, minus the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and a 15% restocking fee.

Defective Products Policy

Upon receiving your order, please inspect all items immediately. You have 30 days from the delivery date to report any broken or defective items. If you discover a defect or damage, contact us at 1.800.976.5530. We will replace or repair defective or broken items at no charge upon receiving notification. After 30 days, any issues with broken or defective items will fall under our standard warranty policy, detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be canceled within 48 hours provided they haven't been shipped yet. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours. If you cancel an order after it's been shipped, you will be responsible for original and return shipping charges, plus any re-consignment fees from the trucking company.

Cancellations will be refunded in the original payment method used during the order placement.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is applicable on the total invoice amount for orders delivered to Virginia (VA). Orders delivered outside of VA are not subject to sales tax.

Duties and Taxes for Canada

For shipments to Canada, duties and taxes must be collected. These are handled separately by a third-party customs broker. If you don’t specify a broker, sunraysaunas.com will choose one for you. We can provide an estimate of the duties and taxes before purchase upon request.
